The Prayer I relied on when on the way to a scene.

Father, Help

Sometimes the most powerful prayer is only two words: Father, Help

When we cry for help, it’s because we believe someone is near enough to hear and strong enough to respond. To whisper, “Father, help” is not weakness—it is trust. It’s the gift of our confidence placed in His hands.

  • HELP can remind us what that cry really carries:

  • Hope — believing He hears us, even when no one else does.

  • Entrust — laying down what we cannot carry.

  • Love — leaning into His unshakable care.

  • Presence — knowing He is with us in the moment.

Like a child reaching up for their father’s arms, this prayer doesn’t need long explanations. It is enough. God does not require polished words; He responds to surrendered hearts.

So today, if you don’t know what else to say, let those two words rise:
Father, help.
They are a cry, a confession, and a declaration of trust—all at once.
